The safety information the law asks for, on every product page.

This policy explains what the Wix app GPSR Product Safety Info does with data. It is written for the site owners who install it, and for the people who visit their shops. Throughout, "we" means the developer of the app, whose details are in section 9.

The app creates four CMS collections on your site and writes only to those.

These collections live on your Wix site, under your Wix account. You can open them at any time in your dashboard under CMS, edit them, export them or delete them, with or without the app installed.

What they hold is business contact information about economic operators, which the GPSR requires to be shown publicly on the product page. That is why those collections are readable by anyone: the regulation asks for exactly that. If the manufacturer or the responsible person you enter is a natural person rather than a company, their name and contact details are personal data and you are the controller of it — you publish it because the law obliges you to.

To do its job the app reads, but never keeps a copy of:

• Your site's business details (name, address, e-mail), only to offer to fill in the manufacturer form when you are the manufacturer. Nothing is saved unless you press save.
• Your store's products and categories, to list your catalogue so you can say which rule applies where. Only names, images and identifiers are read.
• Your site's languages, to know which translations to ask you for.

• It does not collect, store or process any data about your shop's visitors.
• It sets no cookies and uses no local storage on the shop's pages.
• It uses no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.
• It sends data to no third party, and it uses no subprocessors.
• It does not sell personal data.
• It transfers no data outside the European Union: the data stays where Wix hosts your site.

For as long as you keep it. Uninstalling the app removes the app's access; the collections and their contents stay on your site until you delete them yourself in the CMS.

Because the data sits on your own site under your own Wix account, you can read it, correct it, export it and erase it yourself at any time, without asking us. We hold no copy to correct or erase. If you have a question about this policy, write to the address in section 9.

The data is stored by Wix, in Wix's own infrastructure, under the permissions set on each collection: only the site's editors can write, and only the information the GPSR requires to be public can be read by the public. The app is served over HTTPS and runs in your browser and on Wix's hosting. We operate no servers, no databases and no logs of our own.

The app is a tool for running a shop. It is not directed at children and it collects no data from them.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the new version replaces this one at the same address.
